Baby cots behind a shop window

It was a Saturday night, 1 a.m., and I was waiting for my bus.I had left the party much earlier that I had expected. I didn"t like the music, and, what"s even more important, I didn"t like the crowd. But unfortunately, I live in a town where it"s not a good idea to go out at night. First of all, it"s dangerous, and the second thing is, public transportation does not work very well here. The bus was supposed to arrive at 12.30, so I was getting a bit irritated. And it was extremely cold! Winters here can be really harsh. Anyway, I did not have anything else to do so I started looking at the things behind the shop window. There were some baby cots, blankets with colourful patterns printed on them, plush toys, strollers, booties for kids and lots of other things. The shop had been there since I was a child. My mother had brought me here very often. She always bought my clothes here and we usually came here to choose some presents for my little sister and two older cousins. The cot beds and the beautiful blankets reminded me of the times when my sister had been born... well, twenty years had passed, quite a long time. My bus finally arrived. I turned round and approached the vehicle, happy that I could finally get warm.
